A Young Person’s Vision for Youth Work in NI
Come share your ideas on what you want for youth work at the youth led event.
This event is about hearing directly from young people, aged 13 – 25 years old, on their ideas for shaping the future of youth work in Northern Ireland.
The Department of Education has started a review of youth work policy. As young people are key stakeholders in youth work, they are putting their voices at the center of the policy development.
With the help of a Young Person’s Reference Group, they are running 3 events on the theme of ‘A Young Person’s Vision for Youth Work in NI’. This event will take place in Belfast, with others planned for Omagh (August) and Derry/Londonderry (September).
Join in at Ulster University – Belfast Campus June 29thto have your say! The event has been designed by young people and will use youth work methods to achieve a balance of fun and engaging activities.
