Youth Forum Engagement Opportunity with Climate NI
Age 16- 25? Ever wondered how climate change will impact Northern Ireland, and what can be done about it?
Climate NI and the Department for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs will be hosting a workshop offering a chance to learn about some of the main issues and solutions, as well as a chance to have your say on how government should take action over the next 5 years. We need your input to help guide the development of the next NI Climate Change Adaptation Programme 2024-29 (NICCAP3), and make sure that ambitions and priorities are in place to meet the challenge.
You will:
• Learn about the impacts of climate change in NI
• Consider examples of specific actions which can be taken
• Provide feedback on the aims of the NI Climate Change Adaptation Programme, and how it should meet the needs of younger and future generations.
When: Thursday 25th April, 19:00-20:15
