Soil Health Resource
Queens University Belfast
LOESS Project
We are delighted to share the Learning Scenarios we developed as part of the LOESS (Literacy Boost Through an Operational Educational Ecosystem of Societal Actors on Soil Health) project.
The learning scenarios were created as part of Work Package 3, the main objectives of which are to create and test soil teaching resources, modules and tools for educators to introduce the concept of soil health; test the developed resources in different educational (formal and non-formal settings); design learning modules to be piloted in schools and universities and for the general public (crowd-mapping, augmented reality…) and collate an online toolkit with targeted educational material and best practice on soil teaching.
You can access the four learning scenarios through this link. Once you test one of the Learning Scenarios (LS) we would really appreciate it if you could share your feedback through the monitoring questionnaire which can be accessed here. When completing this questionnaire, please fill in the information where it is most relevant, including the context where the LS was piloted.
If you have any queries, please feel free to reach out to Dr Emma McKenna, the UK LOESS Lead at Queen’s University Belfast or Chougher Doughramajian, CERL Officer at science.shop@qub.ac.uk.
