Purpose of Role

We are seeking a dynamic and creative EARTH Hub Content Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in developing impactful educational materials for a variety of audiences.

Duties and Expected Outcomes

Content Development Specialist/ Coordinator:

  • Develop and facilitate new and existing relationships among the Education for Sustainable Development Forum (ESDF) members and the wider eNGO sector (i.e. The Northern Ireland Environment Link membership) to assess what resources and programmes are currently available to a variety of different audiences.
  • In partnership with the eNGOs / Delivery Partners, modify and adapt existing content across a diverse range of environmental topics to ensure they are suitable for use on the EARTH Hub platform.
  • In partnership with the eNGOs / Delivery Partners, craft new compelling written, visual, and multimedia content (e.g., lesson plans, articles, videos, social media posts) for use on the EARTH Hub platform.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators ensure scientific accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with programme goals
  • Coordinate external suppliers where needed e.g. videographers, photographers and graphic designers.
  • Share acquired knowledge and expertise on Earth Hub content creation with eNGOs / delivery partners, so they are equipped to generate future Earth Hub content independently.


  • As required, represent Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful at conferences, events and meetings.
  • Fulfil other duties for Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful as required on occasion.
