Introducing the Environment Leaders Programme to young people in Northern Ireland from RSPB and WWF

Introducing the Environment Leaders Programme to young people in Northern Ireland from RSPB and WWF.

The Environment Leaders Programme is specifically designed to take young people’s inherent optimism and determination and teach them the skills to generate the impact they want to have.

Developed by the Leadership Skills Foundation with WWF and the RSPB, the Environment Leaders Programme is our way of supporting young people to develop the skills they need to make a positive change for the natural world.

Underpinning the programme are two qualifications:

Level 2 in Leadership Skills (for ages 12 – 15)

Level 3 in Leading a Project for Positive Change (for ages 16+)

Both qualifications empower young people to lead activities and projects that bring the areas of sustainability, climate change and the environment to the forefront and starts them on the path of being a changemaker in their local communities.
