Job Purpose: Deliver a range of communication campaigns and events at Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful
Hours of business: Flexible business hours 8am-6pm. Core hours 10am-4pm. Hybrid working policy, 2 days in Belfast office per week

Salary: £29,462 per annum
Contract type: Permanent, subject to funding

Purpose of role
The post holder will be tasked with delivering communication campaigns and events, both digital and in-person, across the full range of programmes within Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful.
For the events element of the role, the post holder will support the successful delivery of activities, from in-person formal events, to information stalls, to community-led clean-ups and virtual celebrations.
As well as delivering campaigns and events, the post holder will be expected to provide general communications support, including development of written and visual materials for website, social media and print to assist in the promotion, marketing and identifying opportunities for the expansion of the programmes within Northern Ireland. You will be required to travel to different parts of Northern Ireland regularly to deliver the role.

Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful (KNIB) is an independent charity established in 2000. Through education, engagement and empowerment, we seek to inspire change by connecting people to nature. Activities include:
- Live Here Love Here is a positive, people-powered campaign that encourages volunteers to appreciate and care for their local areas through regular clean-ups, biodiversity and community gardening projects. Some of the key programmes in Live Here Love Here are Adopt a Spot, The BIG Spring Clean and Healthy Oceans, Healthy Minds.
- Environmental Education that focuses on educating children, young people, communities and businesses on environmental issues and inspiring climate action. This includes Eco-Schools and the 30 Under 30 Northern Ireland Climate Change Makers programmes.
- Local Environmental Quality work that recognises and rewards well managed green and blue spaces across Northern Ireland, particularly through the Green Flag for Parks, Blue Flag for Beaches and Marinas, and Seaside Awards.
