Visit our stunning nature trail at CAFRE, Greenmount and let us provide your students with memorable learning experiences.

You can choose from a selection of 2 hour for full–day programmes that will inspire your group to explore the natural world with exciting hands–on activities. We offer schools opportunities to investigate a variety of habitats including woodland, pond, garden and farmland.

Led by our trained Field Teachers programmes are carefully crafted so that your class gets the most out of their time in our outdoor classroom.

All of our programmes are risk assessed and linked to the Northern Ireland Curriculum. Our Field Teachers facilitate tailored programmes for pre–school, primary and secondary. Spring/Summer programmes are delivered from February to June and the Autumn/Winter programmes are delivered from mid–September to mid–November.

A visit to Greenmount will increase your pupil’s knowledge, understanding and respect for the environment, wildlife and natural places
